A frugal form, an interesting combination of finishing materials and an unusual island. This is the shortest way to describe the kitchen in the house, the interiors of which were designed by Warsaw-based design studio Modoso Interirors.
The lower kitchen cabinets are veneered with oak in a warm caramel shade. The noble wood is contrasted with the tall cabinetry, lacquered in graphite with a fashionable deep matt texture. The same colour can be found on the rather unusual kitchen island. The neat, slender piece of furniture has several functions: practical drawers for storage, pots for herbs, and it can seat four people comfortably on stools.
All the worktops are made of matt black granite, in which the sink is literally hidden. Its bottom can be electrically lifted so that it disappears when not needed. The hob also blends in perfectly with the surface of the worktop. To further enhance the impression of harmony, the classic handles at the dishwasher and freezer were dispensed with by using an electrically assisted system.
